the biblical village

The goal of Impact of Hope is to build biblically based villages to foster the physical and spiritual well-being of an entire community. Our desire is to bring hope to impoverished areas around the globe by feeding the hungry, caring for the sick, creating jobs, helping the community to become self-sustaining, establishing churches, and promoting fellowship. In a biblical village, no person goes hungry, and the sick are cared for—people share with each other and give freely to those in need.

The biblical community is also self-sustaining; people use the resources in their area, making it possible for the inhabitants to find jobs and ways of generating their own income. At the heart of the biblical village is the church. No matter its location, the church is a gathering place for people to learn more about God, worship Him, and fellowship with other Christians.

Christian community, rooted in the church, is another important aspect of the biblical village. Through developing relationships with other Christians, individuals become stronger in their faith and aware of others’ needs. Through this awareness, the individuals of a community can provide help and support for each other in their times of need.
